# Node Operators

During the initial rollout, Aspida will onboard a pre-approved consortium of professional node operators. As liquidity and stability grow and risk mitigation measures such as Distributed Validated Technology (DVT) mature, the operator base will expand gradually, transitioning towards a permissionless model in alignment with the protocol’s principles.
